We're looking for a social media native: someone who doesn't just scroll through feeds but understands why things trend, what makes content stick, and how platforms reward creators. You live and breathe short-form content, you've got opinions on the algorithm, and you've already made something that blew up (even if it was just once). This is a hands-on role where you'll ideate, shoot, edit, and publish content that gets noticed.
You'll be responsible for creating scroll-stopping content across platforms like X, Linkedin and IG. This means conceptualizing ideas rooted in trends and culture, scripting when needed, presenting confidently on camera, and editing videos that feel native to each platform.
You'll also design supporting creatives: thumbnails, carousels and stories that complement the video content. Beyond execution, you'll be expected to track performance, understand what's working, and iterate fast.
Beyond organic content, you'll also design static and video creatives for ads. You'll work closely with the performance marketing team to understand what's working, test new angles, and iterate on ad creatives based on data.
Platform Fluency: You understand the nuances of different social platforms. What works on TikTok doesn't always work on LinkedIn, and you know why. You stay updated on trends, audio, formats, and creator culture.
Proven Virality: You've created content that has genuinely performed: whether it's a reel that hit 100K views, a meme page you grew, or a video that got shared beyond your circle. Show us the receipts.
On-Camera Confidence: You're comfortable being the face of content. You can deliver a hook, maintain energy, and connect with an audience through the lens.
Video Editing Chops: You can cut, trim, add captions, sync to audio, and pace a video for maximum retention. Tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve should feel familiar.
Basic Design Skills: You can whip up a clean graphic, a carousel post, or a story template using Canva or Figma without needing hand-holding.
Speed & Adaptability: Social moves fast. You can turn around content quickly without sacrificing quality, and you're not precious about scrapping ideas that don't land.
Experience with performance marketing content or UGC-style ads, familiarity with AI tools for content creation, or a personal brand/creator account you actively manage.
Duration: 6 months, with potential for full-time conversion based on performance
Location: On site in Bangalore (in office, 5 days a week)
Competitive Stipend: INR 50,000 – 60,000 per month
