Visual Product Design Intern

Product · Internship · Bangalore, IN

We need one person. One insanely talented product design intern who makes things that look incredible - and understands that's the baseline, not the ceiling.

If you've ever spent an hour on a transition that nobody will consciously notice - but everyone will feel - you already get it. If you've ever obsessed over a color palette until it stopped being a choice and started feeling inevitable, we're talking to you.

At Thine, we're building an AI that remembers your life so you don't have to. The product is ambient, personal, and deeply human. Designing for it means making something so visually trustworthy that people let it run in the background of their entire day without thinking twice.

What you'll do

Own screens end-to-end. We will help with flows - you bring them to life. Brief to shipped build. You sit with the product and engineering team. Your work goes into real builds, gets tested by real users, and iterates daily. Nothing you make sits in a folder.

You'll learn fast, ship faster, and build something you'll actually want to show people - because it's real, not concept art that lives and dies on a portfolio site.

What we care about

You make beautiful things. The kind of work where someone screenshots your UI and sends it to a friend. You obsess over color, type, spacing, hierarchy, motion - and it shows in every file you've ever touched.

You also care about the person using the thing. You think about why someone hesitates on a screen, why a flow feels heavy, why someone closes an app and doesn't come back. Craft without empathy is just art direction. The best designers we've worked with have both.

You have taste. Not borrowed from whatever's trending - taste you built by using products obsessively, by noticing what others scroll past, by having opinions you can defend when someone pushes back.

You have a life outside of work. You play an instrument, you run, you write, you cook - something you pour yourself into that has nothing to do with a screen. People who obsess over things outside of work make better designers. We've seen it every single time.

The culture

Small team that moves fast and fights often - about ideas, not egos. A design intern here once grew into leading product. That's not a line - it actually happened. Direct feedback, no busywork. If you ship something great, everyone knows. If something's off, someone tells you directly so you can fix it.
