Knowing who said what
How Thine learns your voice once, then recognizes it among everyone else in a recording.
Thine learns your voice once, then knows it's you among others. Working out who spoke when has a name: speaker diarization. It is what lets every line in a recording belong to the right person.
Why it matters
Notes are only as useful as their attribution. A decision, a promise, or a piece of advice means something different depending on who said it. To help you later, Thine has to know which words are yours and which belong to the people around you.
What makes it hard
- People talk over each other, interrupt, and finish each other's sentences.
- Recordings happen in meeting rooms, lecture halls, and on walks.
- The same voice sounds different through AirPods, a phone, or from across a room.
